WhatsApp Is Down, Confirms Server Issues

WhatsApp experienced an outage for around 3 and Half hours today from 12.30am to 4:00 am IST. Most users around the world reported that they were unable to send messages, and WhatsApp confirmed these problems at 2:16am on twitter with a tweet stating “sorry we currently experiencing server issues. we hope to be back up and recovered shortly.”

  Now that it is working, some people still having problem with last seen message status. When I was trying to send message it was showing connecting for endless time.

The “WhatsDown” reports started flooding in around 12.30 AM IST, but there were some troubles last night also. We received tips from frustrated users in the US, India, Israel, and many places around the world. The outage could stoke fears that Facebook will screw up WhatsApp if the acquisition gets regulatory approval.
