Government General Provident Fund (GPF) and similar to the contribution of other funds have raised the interest rate. The Finance Ministry's announcement will benefit millions of workers. During fiscal year 2012-13 to 8.8 per cent interest. Between December 2011 and March 2012 was 8.6 percent interest rate. During April-November 2011, the interest rate was 8 percent.
