Twenty20 World Cup, the team is visiting Sri Lanka. The whole team has now moved from Chennai to Colombo. The first match will be played on 21 dates.
In 2007 the Indian team captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the first Twenty20 World Cup. The performance of the team in the tournament was nothing special.
The first match of the tournament on September 18 between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe will be played in Hnbntota.Group B: Australia, Ireland and the West Indies is placed. Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and South Africa are in Group C.
The team will debut September 19 against Afganista.
